Our Present

In almost 90 minutes of the most recent productions, “Our Present” offers a journey through the most contemporary Latin American animations. 

Most outstanding works include “The Strange Case of the Bullet Man” (2023) by Beto Valencia from Ecuador; “Humo” (2023) by Rita Basulto Chavez from México, awarded by Stop Motion Our Fest (SMOF) for Best Latin American Animated Short Film; and “Beast” (2021) by Hugo Covarrubias from Chile, nominated for Best Animated Short Film at the Oscars, in 2022.
