Prominent Chilean animator. He began his career as a generalist and 3D animator in the advertising industry. In 2016 he joined a Chilean video game company that took him to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, where he had the opportunity to visit Pixar Studios. That experience only increased his passion for animation.
In 2019 he was part of Jellyfish Pictures, one of the most awarded studios worldwide, responsible for animating the feature film “How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming” (2019). Since the, Luciano has participated in successful international productions such as “Ron’s Gone Wrong” (2021), “The sea beast” (2022), and most recently “Leo” (2024).
This year he released his latest project and debut work in co-production with the Danish Magnus I. Møller and Peter Smith. “Freelance” (2024), which is going to showcase in the festival, narrates the misadventures of a dragon-slaying knight.
