For thirteen years, we have held the Chilemonos International Festival in the city of Santiago, Chile. This year, we will hold the first version of Chilemonos in Vancouver: “The Southern Latin American Festival”. An Animation Festival whose mission is to link Chilean and Latin American culture with the vibrant Canadian animation community. 

This special edition will be held from October 21-25 in Vancouver, Canada, and will feature exhibitions, workshops, conferences, and a Masterclass with special emphasis on Latin American works, as well as very special guests.

CHILEMONOS in Vancouver, acknowledges that it takes place on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We express our respect to the many territorial guardians of the lands and waters where we work, both past and present.
